Hi, I'm happy to be telling you a little about my background and career.
I truly love helping clients create beautiful spaces. I get great satisfaction in building a client relationship to develop ideas that turn into terrific completed projects.
I graduated from interior design in the 90’s, and being more of a hands on type of person, I built a very busy company. Starting out back in the day when faux finishes, paint techniques and wallpaper were put on every surface imaginable. The finishes and techniques have refined and changed throughout the decades to coincide with tastes, trends, styles and décor.
Over the years life has taken me to various provinces in Canada. Just recently I have relocated, hopefully for the final time, and purchased a home in the Trent Lakes area. I am very much an outdoor country girl and love the lakes, forest and small communities this area has to offer. I can’t wait to meet new people, grow a client base and gain lasting friendships along the way.

Wallpaper is a simple non-permanent way to transform any space. With proper prep work it can be easily removed at any time in the future to change to a new style. The options are endless when it comes to wallpaper, almost anything you can imagine is available. Ranging from traditional vinyl to artisan papers, grass cloth, murals, and commercial vinyl. It comes in peel and stick, prepasted, and non pasted. Typical widths are 20 up to 54 inches. There are literally thousands of patterns to choose from, and custom paper can be created and ordered to fit your space.

Paint techniques cover a huge variety of styles, products and applications. A Faux Finish is the art of creating an illusion or appearance of leather, stone, wood, and other natural surfaces. Applications I have recently used are wood graining doors, marble look backsplashes, leather walls, and tile floors. Murals can be a simple quick detail on a cottage wall, or something much more intricate in an entire room and ceiling. Old world finishes are timeless traditional finishes such venetian plaster, marmorino and lime paints. Colour washes, stripes, geometric patterns are all popular choices. Furniture, walls, floors, ceilings, doors and pretty much anything can be painted with a specialty technique, I could go on and on with ideas
